About us

The North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation is a nationally recognized private, nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing infant death and illness and to improving the health of women and young children in North Carolina. Through the development of strategic public and private partnerships, public policy advocacy efforts and award-winning public education programs, the Foundation is a recognized leader in North Carolina's effort to reduce infant mortality.
