Health Check/NC Health Choice materials survey 2008

(11/08) - Thank you very much to all Health Check Coordinators and health care professionals who responded to the electronic Health Check /NC Health Choice materials survey conducted during the summer 2008!  

We had 219 people responding to our inquiry about changes needed to the HC/NCHC materials. The NC Healthy Start Foundation and the NC Division of Public Health are now in the process of updating the educational materials and incorporating your insightful suggestions.

Based on the survey conclusions, we will have a similar look for all the educational materials. We will continue using the current promotional statements and produce one, double-sided poster that will be smaller and will fit better in offices and display areas. Most of the respondents preferred a photo of a healthcare provider with a child or children for the HC/NCHC poster. You also preferred to keep the same name for the envelope stuffer on the order form.

Overall, we were happy to hear that you found the HC/NCHC materials helpful, except for the poster designed in 1999. We are especially excited about the redesign of the poster. Stay tuned for the new poster coming out early next year.
